Kesit

Screenshots, annotated fast.

Coming to the Mac App Store

Requires a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 15 or later.

Press a key. Drag a box. The selection stays live — move it, resize it, nudge it a pixel at a time with the arrow keys — until it frames exactly what you meant. Then draw on it, right there on the screen, and copy it.

Capture

The whole screen, a region you drag out and adjust, or a single window picked by pointing at it.

Annotate in place

Arrows, rectangles, ellipses and text, in seven colours and three weights. No second window to open.

Sized for documents

Standard size by default, so pasting into Word or Pages does not quietly quadruple the file. Full resolution is one click away.

Shortcuts

1
Capture the entire screen
2
Capture a region you select
7
Capture a single window

All three can be changed in Settings. macOS keeps ⌘⇧3 to ⌘⇧6 for its own screenshots, which is why the series skips.

Privacy

Kesit collects nothing and sends nothing.

No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reporting service. No advertising identifiers. There is no account to create and no server to talk to, because there is no server.

Every screenshot you take stays on the Mac you took it on. We have never seen one and have no way to.
